Not all electoral votes are created equal
Traditional electoral college strategies are based in Republican and Democratic politics.
But when you really study the electoral college you find not all electoral votes are created equal.
There is a way to “trim tab” the electoral votes in such a way that you come in 2nd or 3rd place in the electoral college, but win the election.
Here are the relative values of an electoral vote in the following states/districts.
Lower is better.
As you start to layer in more data, you find a pattern.
Certain states are a waste of time for independents.
For example, california, new york, tennessee, and washington.
While the relative value of their electoral votes is good, when you weigh them against how partisan a state is and how many independent voters a state has, those states suddenly aren't as attractive.
Ideally you are looking for states with
1. good relative electoral vote values
2. purple states
3. lots of independent voters
